The company has expanded its investment in Powertrust to implement its portfolio of solutions across its assets.

Hoyer has expanded its investment in Powertrust GmbH, a supplier of photovoltaic solutions, as part of its strategy to support the electrification of all its service stations.

Hoyer has increased its stake in the company from 55% to a full 100%, completing the takeover towards integrating the company’s sales into its own brand. In addition, the chain aims to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the energy sector and implement them in the short term.

As a first step, the company will install solar panels across its service station network as part of its goal to electrify all locations. The focus will be on heavy goods vehicles, providing charging infrastructure at its customers’s depots to establish a nationwide supply network.

Jens Dräger, who took over as Managing Director of Powertrust GmbH in the fall of 2023, will continue to shape the company’s future.
