Montenegro’s Green Grow Energy starts building for 2.35 MW solar plant – SeeNews

April 16 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin company Green Grow Energy said it has begun the construction of a 2.35 MW solar power plant on the rooftops of logistics and distribution centre of local retail chain Voli.

The plant will be located at the distribution centre in Montenegro’s capital Podgorica and will comprise 4100 solar panels, Green Grow Energy said in a LinkedIn post last weekend.

According to the Montenegrin business registry, Green Grow Energy is owned by private individuals Zoran Djukanovic, who owns 35.5% of its capital, Oytun Kutay, 33%, Slavoljub Popadic, 21.5% and Aykut Firat, who owns 10%. It was established in August 2021.

Founded in 1995, Voli has over 50 stores and 2,000 employees.
