GoodWe has launched a new installation project of its Polaris Series in Liangshan, Sichuan Province, China.


Set against the vast land of Liangshan’s sprawling mountains, the Polaris Series, a flagship offering in GoodWe’s building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) range, has pioneered innovative solar roofs for black sheep farming. By leveraging its exceptional features and integrated solutions, Polaris is infusing local agricultural buildings with more sunlight and vitality.


Agricultural solar roofs have gained popularity in recent years as a sustainable power generation solution. Yet, traditional PV panels often fall short in addressing the drawbacks of many agricultural roofs, including low load-bearing capability, which can lead to water leakage risks and dirt accumulation. Liangshan, a mountainous region in China’s Sichuan, faces these challenges when developing agrivoltaics.
