Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the installation of ground-mounted grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants in Dudhani and Vape villages located in the Bhiwandi Block.
The RFP, numbered MAHAPREIT/RESCO/02/23-24, invites experienced contractors to undertake various tasks including survey, design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance for a period of one year. The project entails setting up 180 kW and 135 kW solar PV power plants equipped with a 20 kW-40 kWh battery energy storage system, along with power evacuation arrangements.
Interested bidders can access the tender documents, submit the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), and participate in the bidding process through the official website http://www.nextprocure.in/mahapreit. The offer document costs Rs. 6,000/- along with GST, and the EMD amount is Rs. 5.08 lakh. The tender forms will be available online till February 21, 2024.
It’s emphasized that any deviation from the contractual terms and conditions will result in the rejection of the bid. Bidders are required to ensure that their offers remain valid for 120 days from the date of the opening of the financial bid. Furthermore, the rates quoted by the bidders are non-negotiable, and post-qualification processes will be applicable.
In case of any queries related to the RFP, bidders can contact the officials designated for assistance at MAHAPREIT. The bidding process strictly prohibits firms with any relation to key resource persons, key resource institutions, or members of MAHAPREIT to avoid conflicts of interest.

MAHAPREIT reserves the right to reject any or all offers without providing reasons and also to extend the acceptance period beyond the validity period.
