So my husband and I are on the all electric Eurostar train traveling from London to Amsterdam. As soon as we entered the Netherlands, we were greeted by massive windmills every few miles along our journey. Many of the ancient houses within sight had solar panels and it’s just stark in contrast with train travel across the States. We are trapped into endless fossil fuel consumption. No high speed electric trains whatsoever. And now the cheering on of Tesla’s seeming imminent collapse. What fools we Americans be.
