In a significant step towards renewable energy expansion, Rizal Green Energy Corporation (RGEC) celebrated the installation of the first solar panel array for its 27MW Dagohoy Solar Power Project (DSPP) in Bohol.

The ceremony, attended by key stakeholders including Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado and Dagohoy Mayor Hermie Relampagos, showcased the commencement of the solar project’s development. RGEC President Francisco G. Delfin, Jr., emphasized the project’s importance in addressing power shortages and climate concerns in the region.

Delfin highlighted the significance of DSPP in providing additional power from renewable sources, stating that it aligns with efforts to ensure electricity supply and mitigate climate variability.
