Toledo Solar to cease operations – WTVG

PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Solar announced that effective immediately, it will be ending all research and development and will begin shutting down operations.

According to a release, the company was unable to license the technology needed to manufacture the panels it wanted to create.

As a result, the company determined it did not have a path forward without the ability to make Cadmium Telluride panels. The Toledo Solar Board voted to cease operations.
