One new solar project that came to light in recent months was presented to Westmoreland County by Kelly De Jesus of the Land Use Administration. She made a presentation to the Board of Supervisors about a special exception to allow for the installation of 7.7 acres of mounted solar panels.
While the original presentation was made back during the March work session, county attorney Richard Stuart insisted that a short presentation still had to take place for the benefit of the audience, as there was no guarantee that the attendees had been to the session in March.
