First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) said Wednesday it signed an agreement to supply 457 MW of thin-film solar modules, including 170 MW of Series 6 Plus bifacial modules and 287 MW of Series 7 modules, to Goldman Sachs Renewable Power spinout MN8 Energy; financial details were not disclosed.
MN8 owns and operates a 3.2 GW portfolio in the U.S., and previously transacted with First Solar (FSLR) in its acquisition of the 123 MW American Kings Solar project in California.
Earlier this week, First Solar (FSLR) also announced a deal to supply 547 MW of Series 6 Plus Bifacial thin film PV modules to renewable energy company Birch Creek Energy.
Birch Creek said it plans to deploy the modules across its development pipeline in the U.S.
